Stayed here while touring Pomona. Great experience, the outdoor pool was nice although overlooking the parking lot. The room was large and a suite, but the pullout bed was awful and wirey. Housekeeping helped put an extra layer on top to help. Service was overall great and a good value for a stay. The gym was nice and well equipped. The traffic coming in for the fairplex was annoying but the entrance is right off the hotel so convenient for those going there.

I was not planning on leaving a negative review, but am forced to after the complete disregard by the team for my suitcase being stolen out from under my nose while staying at this hotel. Rooms were nice and clean and the location was fine, but I have to give one star for the service I've received (rather, the lack thereof) since my full-sized suitcase was stolen right outside of my hotel room and the staff + Marriott seem to not care at all about it. At 11:30PM on a Tuesday after hanging out at the hotel bar for a little bit, I left my suitcase in the hallway (on the 8th floor, which can only be accessed by keycard) for all of five minutes while I helped a friend get into his room, and in that time, my suitcase was taken. I immediately reported it to the front desk, assuming a service worker maybe stashed it in a service room upstairs, and the front staff went to check a lost-and-found room and apparently sent an email out to the workers, which turned up nothing. I came back down the next morning to see if it had been brought down by then, and they did the same thing -- checked the lost-and-found, found nothing and told me they'd have to take a report. I was here all week for a business conference, and my suitcase had all of my clothes, toiletries, jewelry, and equipment in it totaling around 500-750 USD worth of personal items. Apparently, there are no security cameras in the hallways (weird, but ok), and, directly quoting the security manager that didn't contact me until I sent an email a week later asking for an update, "... it would take too much time to sift through all of that camera footage in the lobby to see if someone walked out with it". The security manager then told me that my bag left in the hallway for five minutes outside of my own hotel room was "abandoned luggage" and that they are not liable for anything inside of it. Great service! None of the staff bothered to go check any areas other than the lost-and-found while I was obviously distressed about living out of a backpack on a work trip for the next week. The manager, Jaime Cisneros, said he would follow up with me and never did. Even a complaint posted through the official Marriott channels online never resulted in a call or email from their team. The security manager was not at all interested in resolving the situation, only making sure Marriott was not held liable for anything. I don't expect a full cash refund for my stay, or even for them to pay to replace all of my stuff that was stolen, but what I also didn't expect was to just be told I was SOL by every person on their team I tried to discuss the situation with. As someone who (previously) stayed at Marriott hotels fairly frequently, I would have at least expected them to perhaps offer some sort of stay credit due to the inconvenience or, literally at the very least, stay in touch with me and give updates about the situation. I will not ever be returning to a Marriott hotel, and I will actively be attempting to persuade others in my family, friend group, and at my company to avoid their hotels in the future. Complete shame and something that could have been entirely avoided if there was the slightest bit of compassion showed by the Marriott team.

The hotel room was spacious and provided all the amenities such as a refrigerator and a microwave. We attended a conference there in June and it was wonderful. The hotel provided three meals a day, and the food was painful to eat. Management needs to work on providing better food for their conference attendees.

Our stay was so wonderful! We were in town for a weekend wedding, and the staff were amazing. Everyone that we met was very helpful and kind. Housekeeping was a delight. The hotel restaurant servers and staff were all super sweet and lovely. The onsite restaurant was phenomenal, all the drinks, coffee and food were delicious. Most importantly, our room was extremely comfortable. I was traveling with my newborn and the fact that all the rooms are suites, with microwaves and refrigerators, made my trip very easy and reduced my stress. Parking was a breeze. Highly recommended, would stay again.

Front desk customer service was wonderful, the hotel is very nice, the price was a bit high, the room needs updating, and we were on the other side of the wall to the elevators, so it was a constant zooming up and down, sounded like when a bad storm blows through a sealed window, constant whining, my sleep was horrible. Customer service did comp one day of parking fees. But totally not worth the cost of almost $1000 for 3 nights.

I've stayed here 3 trips now, and each time has been consistent in my nice experiences. • Front desk is fast and efficient. Valet is very nice even though I dont use them, they always greet me. • Food is good, though McKinnley Grill shows a different $60 steak in their picture versus the "medium" steak I ordered that was definitely damn near well done; They are overpriced. The bartenders are super nice and make sure to check on you often. • These rooms have been the cleanest ever, and I appreciate the consistency I can expect from them in that aspect. I will take that any day over a hotel that is hit or miss going to have hair in the shower. • Which is why when I (on my third trip) had a room directly across from the elevator (812), did not complain when I heard all the noise. I just put one of my bath towels along the edge of the door and problem solved. • Lastly, I understand that some people may not stay until check out at 11am. However, I would appreciate it if next time Maria Luisa or any other maid wants to try to get a start on her day, that she at least knock on my door before just blatantly opening it at 9am when I'm hanging out in bed in my pajamas, lol.

I’ve stayed at the Sheraton Fairplex multiple times while visiting my daughter at Cal Poly Pomona. The location is close to campus but it’s located in a residential area which is quiet and secluded. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, but what keeps me coming back to this hotel is the staff. The front desk staff is very accommodating and welcoming. Isiah has checked us in on multiple occasions, always cheerful and warm with guests. My family has enjoyed breakfast at the restaurant, and the food and espresso drinks are delicious. I am looking forward to our next stay at the Sheraton!
